Pick Me Up 2016
Pick me up Graphic Arts Festival returns to Somerset house, London for its seventh year. It’s UK’s first Graphic Arts festival, showcasing upcoming artists with backgrounds ranging from illustrations, print design, 3D, animation, typographer and many more.
This 12-day festival is a great way to get to unleash your inner creative side. There’s a chance to get involved in the hands-on workshops (check website for more details as may need to book in advance) or if you prefer to own a creation instead, you can also purchase artwork or limited edition prints from the artists themselves.
I have been going along to Pick Me Up for five years now (six this one coming up) and absolutely love it. It’s so inspirational and great to see up and coming artists showcase their work. Every year, I purchase a creation from one of the artists in residence and get involved with the workshops that are offered. It’s for all ages from children to adults and all lifestyles. Whether you are a student studying arts, on a date or wanting some contemporary culture, I would definitely recommend a Pick Me Up session.
Watch this space for the latest news and artist updates from 21st April to the 2nd May.
